KAILASH LOCATION : Western Tibet from India Border it is approximately 100kms.
ALTITUDE : Kailash peak (6714m) above the Sea level.
BASE CAMP : Darchen (4560m) above Sea level.
CLIMATE : Unpredictable,
BELIEFS: Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Ban-Po (all AUM followers)
SEASON : Mid May to Mid October. Max 30 degree C to Min. -10 degree Celsius
PARIKRAMA OF KAILASH : 52 Km. You can Saved 10 km. to cover by jeep, In two and Half days
ALTTITUTE OF MANSAROVAR : 4550m. above Sea level
PARIKRAMA OF MANSAROVAR : 102 Km. (one day by Land Cruiser)
KILOMETER FROM KTM : 817 one way including 52 Km round of Kailash Parbat.
STANDARD TIME : Tibet is 2:30 hours ahead than Indian time.
CURRENCY : The unit of currency is the Yuan. A dollar equivalent 6.50 Yuan approximately.

Age Limit :

It is not advisable for children below 18 years to travel at this high altitude. Chinese authorities have now fixed the upper age limit at 70 years to be eligible to take this trip (Otherwise spl. Permission will be taken ).

Required Fitness Level:

This is not a trek or expedition but a tour; therefore no specific level of fitness is required. Anybody can join this Yatra if they think themselves fit and have strong willpower. People suffering from
respiratory problems should consult to their doctor or avoid traveling to high altitude. Morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation, Pranayam and regular exercise make the journey comfortable for all.

However, it is advisable for people suffering from Asthma or any other respiratory disorder should inform us in advance to make spl. arrangement.

Clothing and Necessities:

As the temperature varies greatly between day and night ( month of May & June temperature from Max. 30 degrees Celsius to min. –5 degrees Celsius) one should prepare accordingly. One should carry light weight warm clothing. A good wind cheater is strongly advised.

Bring the following items with you:

Day bag, Woolen gloves, Sun hat, Thermal wear, Water bottle, Woolen socks, Towel, warm but Light weight Jacket, Sunglasses, Sun cream, Torch with extra batteries, Muffler, Mask, Raincoat, fleece / Polar fleece, Shirt/T-shirt, Woolen jogging suit & Trekking / Jogging shoes.

Food :

We will serve basic but delicious vegetarian food as per the tour plan. But apart from this, it is advisable to carry high protein bars, dry fruits, chocolate, some tasteful namkeen / snacks, Gulucose-D & similar items.It is advised to go on munching between the meals along with continuous intake of fluids.
