Places to Visit: Lucknow / Kathmandu – Nepalgunj – Manasarovar – Tarboche – Zutulphuk – Dolma- Pass – Manasarovar – Hilsa – Nepalgunj – Lucknow

Day 01: Arrival Lucknow either by train or flight directly transfer to Nepalgunj by Car (approx three and half hour drive) or Kathmandu – Nepalgunj by scheduled flight. Overnight stay at Hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 02: Early morning one hour flight from Nepalgunj to simikot  (altitude of 9,800 ft). Day for acclimatization. Overnight at camp.

Day 03:  Simikot to Hilsa ( Nepal  - Tibet border) by Charter Helicopter. Trek for 30 minutes and board the awaiting jeeps, further drive for 1hrs to reach the town of Taklakot (Altitude of 12,500ft.) Second day for acclimatization. Overnight at Guest house.

Day 04 :  Drive to Manasarovar (3hrs). Overnight in Tents/ Guest House

Day 05 :  Full day on holy banks of Manasarover. Yatris will perform Manasarover Parikrama by Jeeps. Dinner and overnight at Guest House / Tents.

Day 06 :  After early breakfast, depart to Tarboche (starting point for Kailash Parikrama). Trek to Driraphuk (12 km/ 7-8 hrs). Packed lunch dinner and overnight camp / Guest House.

Day 07 :   After early breakfast, start trekking to Zutulphuk via Dolma Pass (highest point of entire journey, 5750m). The distance is 18km with approximate time taken 9-10 hrs. Packed lunch dinner and overnight camp / Guest House.

Day 08 :  After early breakfast, trek further for 10 km. (3-4 hrs) to arrive at the ending point of Parikrama where jeep shall be waiting to drive the pilgrims back to Manasarover for last puja and holy bath and then proceed towards Tirthapuri ( approx 2hrs drive) Tirthrpuri is where the legendry spot where the demon Bhasmasure was burnt to ash. It is situated on the right bank of the Satlej River. Then, finally proceed for the overnight stay at Taklakot. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 09 :  Proceed to Hilsa by Jeep and then fly back to Nepalgunj & drive back to Lucknow for onward destinations.

• Above tour is organized from May till September.
• Starting point of the tour is Nepalgunj reaching Via Lucknow / Kathmandu.
• Total  duration is 09 days.
• Tailor made Itinery suiting only for groups will be made as on request.
• For above tour individual booking are taken as per fixed departure dates.

Mode of Transportation:

• Lucknow – Nepalgunj – Lucknow will be done by a car.
• Nepalgunj – Simikot – Nepalgunj will be done by Chartered Flight.
• Simikot – Hilsa willbe done by a Charter.
• From the first border town (Shera) of Tibet, the transfer to and from will be done by Toyota Land cruisers.
• Only Kora of Mt. Kailash is to be performed on foot. Take two & a half days (42hrs).

Accomodation:
Accomodation & all meals are inclusive. Accomodation will be provided in Hotels/ Guest Houses OR Tents as per available facility.

Medical Facilities:
Very few medical facility is available in Tibet. That too is very distantly located. Our pramadic staff will accompany the group, who take care of only few Medical issues at High altitudes. Personal Medical kit & medicines are recommended.

Guide :
Tibetan Guide will accompany the group, supported by tour leader from India or Nepal.

Tour Cost :
There are five options (Plus Applicable Service Tax)
Option 1 = Rs. 1,80,000 per person for min. 4 persons.
Option 2 = Rs. 1,65,000 per person for min. 8 persons.
Option 3 = Rs. 1,50,000 per person for min. 12 persons.
Option 4 = Rs. 1,35,000 per person for min. 18 persons
Option 5 = Rs. 1,20,000 per person for > 18 persons.

Tour Cost Includes

• From Lucknow to Lucknow all expenses are included expenses of personal nature.
• Helicopter Charter charges, Advance Camping Arrangements in Hilsa / Taklakot for Acclimatisation.
• Chinese Visa, Tibet Permit and Kailash Permit. Nepal permit (Humla), Officers fee, sherapa supporting staff, Nepalese Tour Leader, Tibetan Local Guide.

Tour Cost Excludes

• Travel / Personal Insurance
• Emergency evacuations/ Rescue, if required.
• Any expenses of personal nature and NOT included in the “tour cost includes” section above, are additional.

Permission and Official Formalities:

• No Permission is required from the Indian or the Nepalese Govt.
• To undertake this tour all yatris should have valid passports.
• Tibetan Permits & Chinese Visa are required for this tour, which is included in the Tour cost.
• Medical Fitness certificate stating that the traveller is not suffering from any type of respiratory diseases such as Asthama (issued by registered medical practitioner) is needed.
